Linux Fund Donations

Linux Fund is a nonprofit organization (EIN 93-1275966) with IRS 501(c)(3) status effective September 29th, 2006.

Donations to Linux Fund or BSD Fund are tax-deductible within the limitations of U.S. federal income tax laws.

Donate online

On-line donations between $20 and $1000 have the lowest fees.

We will e-mail you a receipt for your donation after we have verified receipt of the funds. We will address your receipt with the information provided by Google Checkout or PayPal. Please e-mail donations@linuxfund.org if that information is not accurate for financial purposes or you have any questions or special arrangements.

We will contact you to ask if you want your name and/or amount to be published.

Donate by check, Money Order or BillPay

Donations by check or money order can be written to "Linux Fund" or "BSD Fund" and mailed to:

EasyMatch Matching Gift Program

Linux Fund is enrolled with the EasyMatch Matching Gift Programs at Google and Microsoft. Ask your corporate giving liaison if your company will match your donations through this program.

Donate stocks, equipment or other assets

The Linux Fund is also equipped to accept donations of stocks, bonds, equipment and other assets. Please contact donations@linuxfund.org for more information.
