Linux Fund Donation Options

Linux Fund launched the original credit card that supports Open Source in 1999 and is committed to providing you innovative strategies like stock donations, EasyMatch employer grant matching and online giving, long before Kickstarter and most other online pledge sites launched. Most importantly, Linux Fund is a true 501(c)(3) public-benefit nonprofit organization unlike many pledge sites and has enjoyed this status since September 29th, 2006 (EIN 93-1275996).

This means that donations made by U.S. citizens to Linux Fund or one of our partner projects are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. income tax laws. This also means that we are subject to a higher level of scrutiny that ensures our compliance with our mission to Support Open Source.
